Job summary
RTX is seeking a Systems Engineer II - Signal and Sensor Modeling in Tucson, AZ. You will join a close-knit team to develop physics-based modeling solutions for DoD Space programs, focusing on EO/IR/RF domains and energy transport.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics is required or related STEM field.
- Experience applying object-oriented software design in C++, C, and MATLAB or Python for data evaluation.
- Experience with UNIX/Linux, Apple OS, or Windows command line.
- Experience in electro-optics, radar processing, EO/IR/RF systems, energy transport, radar physics, signal processing or discrimination algorithms.
Responsibilities
- Champion novel solutions for advanced modeling techniques.
- Develop new C++ models in an extensible, maintainable fashion.
- Deploy EO or RF phenomenology and physics principles in software.
- Enable customer success through adoption of modeling solutions.
