Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Illinois and BLS within 30 days required.
• Completion of required continuing education for total joint replacement program may be needed.
• Must pass board exam on next available date and maintain licensure.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients, families, and caregivers using effective teaching methods.
• Follows the plan of care and adjusts treatment with therapist communication and daily notes.
• Produces documentation in accordance with policy; ensures accurate clinical records.
• Completes annual education as assigned for DNV Hip and Knee programs.
