Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to evaluate and treat patients of all ages, modify plans of care, and serve as a clinical resource for staff and students. The role includes a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance for eligible candidates.

The PTA will educate patients and families, follow the PT plan of care, document thoroughly, and coordinate with the PT. Join a network serving central Illinois with a strong commitment to care.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) per IDFPR registration.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days per AHA.
• Board Eligible/required to complete board exam at next available date and complete required CE for acute stroke care.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients, family, caregivers, students, and other health care providers using effective teaching methods.
• Follows the therapist's plan of care and adjusts treatment based on patient response with documented communication.
• Produces documentation per Clinical Documentation Policy (CTSCP67).
• Completes annual education to comply with DNV Hip and Knee Replacement program requirements.
• Follows treatment plan of care and coordinates with PT on interventions.
