The position offers a sign-on bonus and requires IL IDFPR licensure, BLS within 30 days, and ongoing continuing education to meet DNV Hip and Knee Certification standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Illinois (IDFPR)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - AHA
• Complete required continuing education for DNV Hip and Knee Replacement care
• Pass board exam at next available date
• Continuing education content may include hours assigned to comply with DNV Hip and Knee requirements

Responsibilities

• Educates patients, family, caregivers, students, and other health care providers using effective teaching methods.
• Follows the therapist's plan of care and adjusts treatment based on patient response after communication with the evaluating therapist.
• Produces documentation per CTSCP67 policy.
• Completes annual education for DNV Hip and Knee requirement if applicable.
• Collaborates with health care team throughout rehabilitation and provides education to family.
