Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an Ultrasonography professional to provide high quality cardiac ultrasound imaging for adult patients, with opportunities for stress testing and related duties. Sign-on bonus and relocation support available for eligible candidates.

Role requires ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year and BLS within 30 days. New grads are encouraged to apply; education in sonography or related field is required.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year.
• BLS within 30 days (AHA).
• Education: Sonography or related field.
• New grads accepted.

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality two-dimensional ultrasound studies of the heart and great vessels.
• Identify EKG abnormalities and/or arrhythmias during procedures.
• Use M-mode technique to measure cardiac dimensions and assess valve function.
• Evaluate blood flow with pulsed and continuous-wave Doppler and color Flow Doppler.
