Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an ultrasound echocardiography technologist to provide high-quality cardiac imaging for adult patients. ARDMS/CCI registration within 1 year and BLS within 30 days are required. New grads are welcome.

You will operate ultrasound equipment, optimize image quality, and assist with stress echo and TEE as needed, with sign-on and relocation bonuses offered. Join a collaborative cardiovascular imaging team focused on patient-centered care and ongoing professional development

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality two-dimensional echo studies of the heart and great vessels.
• Identifies ECG abnormalities and/or arrhythmia.
• Operates ultrasound equipment and selects transducers for optimal views.
• Uses age-specific techniques and patient positioning for best visualization.
• Participates in mobile echo/vascular service and callback rotation.
• Assists in stress echocardiography and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE).
