Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant required.
• Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Illinois or equivalent licensure.
• BLS certification within 30 days.
• Complete required continuing education on acute stroke care.
• Board exam must be completed on next available date.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients and families using effective teaching methods.
• Follows and updates the therapist's plan of care with consultation.
• Documents in accordance with CTSCP67 policy.
• Participates in annual education for DNV Hip/Knee programs.
