Job summary

Carle Health seeks a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to implement the plan of care established by the supervising Physical Therapist. The role supports patients of all ages and serves as a clinical resource for staff and students.

Qualified candidates must have an Associate’s Degree as a PTA and be licensed; BLS within 30 days is required, with ongoing CE to comply with DNV Hip and Knee standards. Sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) is required.
• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in IL is required.
• BLS within 30 days (AHA) is required.
• Complete continuing education for acute stroke care as assigned.
• Must pass the board exam at next available date.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients, families, caregivers, students, and other health care providers.
• Follows and adjusts the therapist's plan of care with documentation.
• Completes documentation per CTSCP67 policy and annual training as required.
• Collaborates with the rehabilitation team and families throughout the process.
