ZP Connect seeks interpreters to provide high-quality American Sign Language interpreting via video, on-site, or both. The role emphasizes fluency in ASL and English, adherence to NAD-RID, and professional conduct in a call center and client locations.

The ZP Flex 12 Interpreters schedule averages 12 hours per week over six weeks, with benefits including telehealth, 401(k) matching, and professional development opportunities. Applicants must complete required training and assessments.

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English; accurate interpretation.
• Understanding Deaf culture and NAD-RID Code of Conduct.
• Must be 18+ and able to pass the company's skills assessment.
• Must attend 40 hour New Hire Training and be able to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective video relay service, video remote interpreting, and on-site interpreting for consumers.
• Support and model the company’s mission and values.
• Provide excellent customer service with a professional attitude.
• Maintain punctuality, preparedness for shifts, and timely record keeping.
• Adhere to FCC regulations and company policies.
• Adapt to new technologies and multitask between interpreting and using video tools.
