ZP Connect is a leading provider of onsite interpreting services, video relay service and video remote interpreting for the deaf and hard of hearing communities. Interpreters work in a call center and at various customer locations when needed, using fluent ASL and spoken English to deliver high-quality interpretations under NAD-RID guidelines.

We offer flexible scheduling for ZP Flex 12 Interpreters (12 hours per week average over a 6-week cycle), telehealth options, 401(k) with employer match,

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English language skills.
• Able to provide accurate interpretation.
• Understanding of Deaf culture.
• Knowledge of NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.
• Three to five years of interpreting experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide effective video relay service, video remote interpreting, and on-site interpreting for consumers.
• Support and model the company’s mission and values.
• Provide excellent customer service with a respectful and professional attitude.
• Maintain punctuality and preparedness for shifts; collaborate with colleagues and supervisors.
