Job summary

ZP Connect is a leading provider of onsite interpreting services, video relay service and video remote interpreting. The Interpreter will deliver high-quality American Sign Language interpreting through video in a call center and on-site at various customer locations, adhering to NAD-RID standards and maintaining professional conduct.

The role requires fluent ASL and English, and familiarity with Deaf culture.

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English language skills.
• Three to five years of interpreting experience preferred.
• Understanding of Deaf culture and NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective video relay service, video remote interpreting, and on-site interpreting for consumers.
• Support and model the company’s mission and values.
• Provide excellent customer service with a professional attitude.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, FCC regulations, and maintain punctuality.
• Travel as needed and adapt to new technologies.
