Job summary

ZP Connect is seeking a Sign Language Interpreter for Flex 12 hours per week, providing high-quality American Sign Language interpretation via video in a call center and at on-site locations as needed. Interpreters must be fluent in ASL and English, and able to travel when required.

Applicants must pass the interpreting skills assessment and complete a 40-hour New Hire Training. Telehealth benefits and flexible scheduling are available to eligible interpreters.

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English language skills.
• Three to five years of interpreting experience (preferred).
• State licensure or state-required credentials as applicable.
• You must be 18 years or older to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective video relay service, video remote interpreting, and on-site interpreting for consumers.
• Support and model the company’s mission and values.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a respectful and professional attitude with customers and colleagues.
• Exhibit professional behavior including punctuality and preparedness for shifts, respectful interaction with colleagues and supervisors, and timely and accurate record keeping.
• Adhere to all policies and FCC regulations.
