Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree in interior design or related field; plus points for relevant coursework.
• Interest in interior design and home decor.
• Retail or sales experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with CRM platforms, virtual meetings, and Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Provide showroom, manager, and general support.
• Greet and qualify all customers coming in.
• Use Salesforce to communicate with showroom team.
• Assign customer to appropriate consultant.
• Monitor customer flow including wait times and appointments.
• Send out daily follow-up emails.
• Answer phones and assist callers.
• Work with manager and staff to monitor showroom maintenance.
• Monitor, organize, and maintain showroom samples, literature & printed assets.
• Assist staff with vendors by checking on POs, delivery status, etc.
• Organize and maintain back office.
• Assist customers with taking payment, checking order status, and smaller transactional sales.
• Assist with sample requests for projects.
• Work with Customer Support Specialist to assist customers with returns, etc.
• Create Spec Books for Consultants.
• Create Mood Boards and Sample Boxes for consultants.
• Help store manager with daily agenda & keeping associates on schedule.
• Order supplies for showroom.
• Prepare the showroom for opening and closing.
• Attend trainings and field visits; attend events as requested.
