Job summary

TileBar, a leader in tile and surfaces, is seeking a Showroom Design Consultant in Houston. You will engage clients, curate material selections, and drive sales from quote to delivery, while maintaining product knowledge and brand standards.

You will advise homeowners, designers, and contractors, creating custom room packages and ensuring exceptional service. The role requires flexibility for retail hours and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of sales or customer service experience, preferably in retail showroom or luxury environments.
• Experience in tile, natural stone, textiles, furniture, building materials, or supply chain is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Client Engagement: Serve as the primary contact for clients, providing expert advice and resolving issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Design & Consultation: Curate materials and design boards reflecting client needs and budget for residential and commercial projects.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain deep understanding of TileBar products, brand values, and industry trends.
• Sales & Order Management: Handle quoting, orders, sample requests, and CRM entry for sales activity.
• Team Collaboration: Work with local team to meet brand standards and ensure timely order processing and delivery.
• Relationship Building: Establish long-lasting client relationships to foster loyalty and repeat business.
• Brand Ambassador: Represent TileBar’s brand positively in all client interactions.
