Job summary

Florida Tile, a leading tile manufacturer and distributor, seeks a Design Showroom Consultant to assist architects, contractors and homeowners in selecting tile, generate sales and process orders. The role focuses on maintaining an attractive showroom and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the OSR sales team, promoting showroom use for A&D events, and handling daily showroom tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months retail or sales experience
• Education in marketing or design field a plus
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Ability to travel to local customers
• Experience in tile or flooring industry is a plus
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a trade client base via in-house meetings, telephone and internet communications
• Identify new sales opportunities and channels
• Promote the showroom for A&D trade events and promotions
• Coordinate sales with the OSR sales team and share leads
• Maintain showroom displays and merchandising
• Assist in daily tasks including orders, deposits, invoicing and inventory
• Provide excellent customer service and support to customers
