Job summary

Dal-Tile in Houston is seeking a Showroom Design Consultant to provide interior design advice, product selection, and expert guidance that drive sales and brand awareness in our showroom. You will use the showroom as a selling tool and collaborate with clients and designers to develop compelling designs.

Evening and weekend hours are required; duties include logging client showroom visits in CMT, following up on leads, and supporting showroom events and merchandising to showcase new products.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in a related field or relevant experience.
• Strong sales, customer engagement and design skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and customer management tools.

Responsibilities

• Provides interior design advice and product expertise to facilitate selection and sales.
• Logs client showroom visits and notes in CMT; communicates with team to follow up.
• Prospects for new business with builders and designers; makes outside calls as needed.
• Maintains showroom samples and merchandising; coordinates events and product launches.
• Plans showroom tours and participates in industry trade events.
• Evening and weekend hours are required.
