Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Shortage Control Associate to help maintain a secure shopping environment while delivering exceptional customer service. You will monitor entrances, greet customers with energy and professionalism, and report theft incidents to the Manager on Duty.

Responsibilities include supporting shortage reduction programs and training associates, staying vigilant, and upholding safety standards. Flexible schedule with part-time opportunities and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and monitor store environment.
• Excellent communication with customers and co-workers; able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor store entrances and high-risk areas to reduce theft opportunities.
• Greet customers with a warm, energetic greeting and maintain a professional appearance.
• Identify and report theft incidents to the Manager on Duty and support shortage reduction programs.
• Assist in training associates on shortage reduction processes and safety practices.
