Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Shortage Control Associate to contribute to a secure shopping environment while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will monitor store entrances and high-risk areas, greet customers with a warm, confident greeting, and support loss prevention programs to reduce theft opportunities. The role requires 1+ years in customer service or retail, ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations is preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and to visually monitor store environment.
• Excellent communication with customers and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entrances/exits and high-risk areas to deter theft and maintain security.
• Greet every customer with a warm, confident greeting and provide exceptional service.
• Report theft incidents or suspicious activity to Manager on Duty and support shortage reduction programs.
