Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Shortage Control Associate to help create a secure shopping environment while delivering excellent customer service. You will monitor entrances, greet customers, and work with leadership to report theft incidents, supporting shortage reduction programs.

Qualifications

1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations is preferred.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and to visually monitor store environment.
Excellent communication with customers and co-workers.
Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

Monitor entrance/exit and high-risk areas to reduce theft opportunities.
Greet every customer entering or exiting the store with a friendly, confident greeting.
Identify and report theft incidents or suspicious subjects to the Manager on Duty.
Assist in shortage reduction trainings and support store leadership.
