Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. seeks a Shortage Control Associate to help secure the store and deliver exceptional customer service.

You will greet customers, monitor entrances, and support loss prevention programs to reduce opportunities for theft and maintain a safe shopping environment. Candidates should have 1+ years in customer service or retail, the ability to stand for long periods, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations is preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and to monitor the store environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor store entrances and high-risk areas to reduce theft opportunities.
• Greet every customer with a warm, loud, and confident greeting, maintaining a professional appearance.
• Identify theft indicators and report suspected activity to the Manager on Duty promptly.
