Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. seeks a part-time Shortage Control Associate to help create a secure shopping environment while delivering excellent customer service. You will greet customers warmly, monitor store entrances, and report theft incidents to the Manager on Duty as they occur.

Qualifications

1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and monitor store environment.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to review, analyze and comprehend business trends.
Excellent communication with customers and co-workers; strong posture and energetic demeanor.
Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Greet every customer entering or exiting with a warm smile and a loud, friendly greeting.
Maintain command presence at store entrances, exits, and high-risk areas.
Identify and report theft incidents and suspicious activity to the Manager on Duty.
Conduct bag and package checks on store and corporate associates to ensure safety and security standards.
Provide support in training associates on shortage reduction programs.
