Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a part-time Shortage Control Associate to help maintain a secure shopping environment and provide excellent customer service.

You will monitor store entrances, greet customers with a warm, energetic greeting, and report suspicious activity to the Manager on Duty. The role requires 1+ years in customer service or related fields, the ability to stand for long periods, and a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, asset protection, loss prevention or operations preferred.
• Ability to stay alert and observe store activity.
• Excellent communication with customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor store entrances and high-risk areas for theft.
• Greet customers entering or departing the store with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Identify and report theft or suspicious activity to management.
• Support shortage reduction programs and participate in store safety drills.
• Assist in training associates on safety and loss prevention procedures.
