Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Shortage Control Associate to help create a secure shopping environment and provide excellent customer service. You will stand at store entrances, monitor for theft, greet customers with a warm smile, and report suspicious activity to the Manager on Duty.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and visually monitor store environment.
• Excellent communication with customers and co-workers; strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor store entrances and exits to reduce theft opportunities.
• Greet every customer with a warm smile and loud, friendly greeting.
• Identify and report theft incidents to Manager on Duty.
• Conduct bag and package checks on associates per safety standards.
