Job summary

Qual IT Resources in Phoenix seeks a hands-on IT support specialist to install and maintain shopfloor PCs, deploy USB-image based machines, and support remote teams with network, firewall, and switches configuration.

You will assist with printer and application migrations, provide day-to-day desktop support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with physical security and other IT policies across three sites.

Responsibilities

• Build shopfloor PCs using USB image (over 130 across all 3 sites)
• Participate in shopfloor planning discussions
• Deploy shopfloor machines in accordance with agreed plan
• Provide support for remote teams, to include: Connecting laptop to network devices for remote configuration
• Connecting laptop to firewall(s) for remote configuration
• Connecting laptop to compute switches for remote configuration
• Assist with printer migration by updating print drivers on PCs and troubleshooting
• Assist with application migration by updating PCs to connect to new applications
• Provide day-to-day end-user desktop support as needed, including troubleshooting issues, implementing solutions, and performing standard application installations.
• Support technical PC and standard user process activities associated with physical security and other compliance requirements.
