Cox Fleet is currently hiring a Shop Trailer Mechanic II. This is a dedicated on-site shop position and we do not provide emergency side of the road type of repairs. The Shop Trailer Technician II will perform certified DOT inspections, preventive maintenance inspections, light repairs, and other duties such as fabrication.

A Sr Technician will supervise advanced repairs as you learn more skills. You will work to meet high performance metrics in a safe shop environment, advancing your mechanical

Qualifications

• Experience performing certified DOT inspections.
• Experience with preventive maintenance inspections.
• Ability to perform light, medium, and heavy-duty repairs.
• Shop environment experience and safety compliance.

Responsabilités

• Follow safe operating practices and procedures.
• Determine parts needed and coordinate with parts department.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and assist in end-of-day cleanup.
• Assess customer needs with Service Writer and provide information.
• Manage concurrent tasks and prioritize work.
• Perform PM, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs.
• Change oil, check batteries, lubricate equipment.
• Use hand tools.
