Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Shop Trailer Mechanic II for an on-site shop role. You will perform certified DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, light repairs, and other duties on trailers in a dedicated shop environment.

The Technician II may assist with advanced repairs under supervision, adhere to safety standards, and document work in the RO system using Karmak; a strong team focus is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Knowledge of trailer parts, systems, and maintenance requirements.
• Experience with DOT inspections and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and preventative maintenance on trailers.
• Determine parts needed and coordinate with Parts Department.
• Keep the work area clean and safe at all times.
• Document repairs and upload RO photos using Karmak.
• Follow safety policies and complete required training.
