Job summary

Carolina Handling, a leading automation solutions provider, seeks a Service Shop Technician to maintain and repair lift trucks and related equipment in a supervised shop environment. You will deliver high-quality service, adhere to safety policies, and support customers with professionalism.

Qualified candidates bring 1–3 years of mechanical/electrical experience, the ability to read schematics, operate various tools, and communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Qualifications

• High school education plus 1–3 years of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic experience or equivalent in college/vocational education.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and service manuals.
• Ability to safely operate drills, grinders, presses, forklifts, hoists, overhead cranes, and hand tools.
• Effective communication with customers, management, and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality scheduled maintenance, new equipment installations, modifications, and equipment overhauls.
• Rebuild and repair components as necessary.
• Perform factory-authorized modifications per specifications.
• Analyze problems and determine corrective actions for breakdowns.
