Job summary

Carolina Handling, a Raymond dealer, is seeking a Service Shop Technician to inspect, repair, and maintain electric and internal combustion lift trucks and related equipment in a supervised shop.

You will perform mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical work, follow safety procedures, and document repairs while delivering high-quality service to customers. Pre-employment checks apply; a high school diploma and 1–3 years related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus 1–3 years mechanical, electrical, hydraulic experience.
• Ability to read schematics and necessary service manuals.
• Ability to safely operate drills, grinders, presses, forklifts, hoists, overhead cranes, and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance and major/minor overhauls.
• Rebuild and repair components as needed.
• Perform factory-authorized modifications per specifications.
• Problem analysis and resolution for equipment breakdowns.
• Provide field service support and document repairs.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety rules.
