Carolina Handling, a Raymond Dealer, is seeking a Field Technician to service lift trucks and related material-handling equipment across customer sites in Charleston, SC and nearby areas. You will diagnose electro-mechanical issues, perform installations and repairs, and interact with customers to ensure satisfaction.

The role emphasizes safety, professionalism, and timely maintenance, with hands-on training and a company-wide commitment to growth and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–3 years of related maintenance/repair/installation experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, and electronic systems; ability to read schematics and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting electro-mechanical problems and performing installations/repairs.
• Interact with customers to understand concerns and recommend action.
• Maintain professionalism and represent the company positively.
• Execute repairs and address issues promptly and professionally.
• Perform scheduled maintenance for contracted customers per policy.
• Manage parts and supplies in the service van inventory.
• Ensure service van is stocked and maintained.
• Adhere to safety guidelines when performing customer-site repairs.
