Job summary

Carolina Handling, a Raymond Dealer, is seeking field technicians to service lift trucks and material handling equipment at customer sites. You will diagnose electro-mechanical issues, perform repairs, and conduct scheduled maintenance while maintaining a high standard of customer service.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment checks (background, drug, MVR).
• Valid driver’s license with clean record required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years in maintenance/repair/installation preferred.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics and electronics; ability to read schematics and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting: identify and diagnose electro-mechanical problems; perform installations and repairs.
• Customer Interaction: communicate with customers to understand concerns and resolve issues; ensure satisfaction.
• Professionalism: maintain a professional demeanor and represent the company well.
• Repair Work: execute repairs promptly and accurately.
• Scheduled Maintenance: perform planned maintenance and address issues found during checks.
• Inventory Management: track parts and supplies in the service van.
• Van Maintenance: keep the service van stocked and maintained.
• Safety Compliance: follow customer safety guidelines and site rules.
• Perform any other duties as assigned to support operations.
