Job summary

Carolina Handling, LLC is seeking Field Technicians to service lift trucks and equipment in customer sites across the region. You will diagnose electro-mechanical issues, perform installations and repairs, and maintain a professional, safety-focused approach while representing the company in customer interactions.

You’ll be responsible for scheduled maintenance, part inventory in the service van, and using schematics to diagnose problems.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–3 years of related maintenance, repair, or installation experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, and electronic systems; able to read schematics and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting electro-mechanical problems and performing installations and repairs.
• Interact directly with customers to understand concerns and resolve issues.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and provide superior customer service.
• Execute repairs efficiently and address issues promptly.
• Perform scheduled maintenance per company policy and address issues found during checks.
• Manage parts and supplies inventory in the service van.
• Ensure the service van is maintained and stocked with tools and equipment.
• Adhere to safety guidelines at customer sites and prioritize safety.
