Job summary

Carolina Handling seeks field technicians to service lift trucks and automated equipment at customer sites. You’ll diagnose electro-mechanical issues, perform installations and repairs, and be the main point of contact for customers.

Through hands-on training, ongoing development, and a take-home service van with a robust toolkit, you’ll build technical skills and advance your career in a supportive, safety‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-3 years of equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a related field such as maintenance, repair, or installation is preferred.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, and electronic systems; ability to read schematics and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting electro-mechanical problems and performing installations and repairs.
• Interact with customers to understand concerns and resolve issues.
• Maintain professionalism and represent the company positively.
• Execute repairs promptly and effectively.
• Perform scheduled maintenance for contracted customers as per policies.
