Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Glen Burnie, MD is hiring a Customer Service Coordinator to support shop management through timely communications, scheduling, and inventory activities. The role runs Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm, with hourly pay paid weekly.

Responsibilities include customer interface, issue resolution, PM scheduling, and maintaining repair and maintenance records. The position emphasizes CSI improvement and cost containment through inventory planning and warehouse support.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED required.
• 1 year or more in customer service or comparable experience with issues resolution.
• Strong computer skills including spreadsheets and word processing software advanced; required.

Responsibilities

• Improve the quality and consistency of customer communications and meet customer's expectations.
• Perform customer relationship activities including interface, issue resolution and satisfaction.
• Execute communication protocol for PM scheduling, follow-up, breakdowns and vehicle status updates.
• Drive improvement of Customer Satisfaction (CSI) scores.
• Create repair order tasks and update work planning sheet.
• Review maintenance reports to schedule preventative maintenance and follow-ups.
