Famous Footwear is hiring a Sales Associate dedicated to creating an exceptional in-store experience. You’ll drive sales, help customers find perfect fits, and contribute to a welcoming, inclusive team culture.

You’ll maintain store standards, stay informed about trends, and share knowledge with customers. This role emphasizes teamwork, integrity, and delivering the Famous Feeling to every guest.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to build constructive relationships with store staff.
• Strong communication with associates at all levels.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment with Store Sales Manager.
• Solid working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends, extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily store tasks (pricing, shipments, fulfillment, inventory) are dialed in and the store is clean and organized.
• Deliver stellar customer engagement and drive the Famous Footwear customer connection.
• Review store performance and assist in driving sales with urgency to achieve goals.
• Uphold company policies and procedures and seek feedback for development.
• Foster a diverse, inclusive, and positive in-store culture.
• Assist teammates with training and development when needed.
