Famous Footwear is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver an exceptional shoe store experience. You will cultivate a welcoming environment, drive sales, and share footwear knowledge that builds customer loyalty.

You will engage with customers, maintain store standards, and collaborate with teammates to ensure the best possible service and the distinctive Famous Feeling. The role emphasizes integrity, team support, and flexibility to meet store needs, including holidays and extended hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Able to build constructive and effective relationships within store.
• Demonstrates an ability to communicate positively with store associates at all levels.
• Must exercise independent judgment and discretion partnering with Store Sales Manager as needed.
• Strong working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including holidays, nights, weekends and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Ace Retail Operations: ensure daily store tasks (pricing, shipments, fulfillment, inventory) are dialed in and the store runs smoothly.
• Be a Famous Culture Influencer by providing stellar customer engagement and a top-notch experience.
