Job summary

Famous Footwear is seeking a Sales Associate in New York to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive store performance. You will manage daily tasks such as pricing, shipments, and inventory while upholding our brand standards and customer-focused culture.

You will engage customers with product knowledge, build relationships with team members, and support training to help every guest find the perfect fit and leave with the Famous Feeling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Ability to build constructive and effective relationships within store.
• Ability to communicate positively with store associates at all levels.
• Must exercise independent judgment and discretion partnering with Store Sales Manager as needed.
• Strong working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including holidays, nights, weekends and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Ace Retail Operations: you’ll ensure daily store tasks (pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment and inventory) are dialed in, keeping the store running like a tightly laced sneaker.
