Caleres is seeking a Famous Footwear Sales Associate to create an outstanding shoe store experience. You’ll maintain store operations, assist customers with shoe selections, and contribute to a welcoming culture that reflects the Famous Footwear brand.

You will engage customers, stay informed about trends, and help the team achieve goals while upholding company policies and delivering the Famous Feeling. A flexible schedule and teamwork are essential components of the role.

Qualifications

• Ability to build constructive relationships with store team members.
• Excellent communication with associates at all levels.
• Able to exercise independent judgment with guidance from Store Sales Manager.
• Strong knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Able to work effectively in a team and flexible schedule for holidays/nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily store tasks (pricing, shipments, fulfillment, inventory) are dialed in.
• Deliver stellar customer engagement and drive sales with urgency.
• Review store performance and communicate with the team.
• Adhere to company policies and seek feedback for development.
• Support training and development for teammates as needed.
