Caleres, Inc.– Famous Footwear is seeking a Customer‑focused Sales Associate to deliver an exceptional in‑store experience. You will create a welcoming environment, guide customers to the right shoe fits, and contribute to a high‑energy team culture.

You love shoes and help every guest feel the Famous Feeling. You will handle daily tasks like pricing, shipments, inventory, and merchandising, while staying informed on trends to share with customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to build constructive relationships within the store team.
• Strong communication with store associates at all levels.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment with the Store Sales Manager as needed.
• Solid working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily store tasks (pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment and inventory) are dialed in.
• Deliver stellar customer engagement and keep customers wowed with top-level experiences.
• Review store performance and drive sales with urgency to achieve goals.
• Maintain integrity by following company policies and procedures.
• Foster diversity and inclusivity and assist with training and development when needed.
