Job summary

Famous Footwear is seeking a Sales Associate to create a welcoming store experience, drive sales, and maintain upbeat, policy-driven operations. You’ll engage customers with product knowledge and fashion trends, assist with training, and ensure a clean, organized store that makes every customer feel valued.

You’ll collaborate with a diverse team, work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, and enjoy employee discounts and development opportunities in a large, nationwide retailer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Ability to build constructive relationships within store.
• Positive communication with store associates at all levels.
• Exercise independent judgment with Store Sales Manager as needed.
• Strong working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily store tasks (pricing, shipments, fulfillment, inventory) are accurate and organized.
• Provide stellar customer engagement and drive the Famous Footwear shopping experience.
• Review store performance and help drive sales with clear, timely communication to the team.
• Uphold store policies and integrity, and seek feedback for improvement.
• Foster an inclusive, positive team environment and assist with training when needed.
• Actively recommend shoes to customers to ensure the right fit and brand loyalty.
