Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Warehouse Operations Clerk to ensure shipping documents are correct and timely. The role reports to the Operations Supervisor or Manager and requires handling outbound shipments, driver coordination, and data entry in the warehouse management system.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED, warehouse experience, and familiarity with Manhattan WMS. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to work irregular hours may be needed to support shipping

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Experience with Manhattan WMS is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to handle changing priorities and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Communicates via email with outbound carriers daily, providing schedules for outbound shipments and equipment needs.
• Communicates with site personnel to ensure operations meet requirements.
• Receive all drivers and provide direction for outbound shipments.
• Using a warehouse management system, open/close shipments and prepare accurate bills of lading for outbound freight.
• Ensure drivers depart with appropriate paperwork.
• Ensure the accuracy of all shipping documents by following SOPs.
• Gather and enter data in the warehouse management system and maintain shipping records.
• Assist in resolving discrepancies.
• Assist with receiving, put-away, picking, packing, or loading.
• Actively monitors trailer capacity and coordinates with spotters on moves.
• Assist with other administrative duties as needed by leadership.
• File outbound paperwork for easy access.
• Maintain seal log with necessary information and load board accuracy.
• Communicate work assignments such as appointments, doors to load, items to pick.
• Other tasks as assigned.
