Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Shipping/ Receiving Shift Lead for a company based in Northport, AL. You will manage a production team, oversee shipping/receiving paper materials, and ensure safety compliance.

Pay is $21.00-22.00 per hour with a Monday–Friday schedule from 3:00pm to 11:30pm. This full-time, temporary-to-hire role offers weekly pay and full benefits through the agency staff package.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced industrial environment with safety practices.
• Experience as supervisor or team lead preferred.
• Able to lift and move heavy loads safely and efficiently.

Shipping/ Receiving Shift Lead

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Shipping/ Receiving Shift Lead for a company based in Northport, AL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage a production team in regard to shipping/ receiving paper materials.

Pay Rate $21.00-22.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours Monday through Friday, 3:00pm am to 11:30pm

Duties and Responsibilities

• Strong leadership experience in Shipping and Receiving setting
• Supervise, train, and motivate staff, ensuring they have the necessary resources and guidance to perform their duties effectively.
• Experience with forklift and machine operating.
• Enforce safety procedures and regulations, and ensure the team uses appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and notify management when supplies are low.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be able to work safely work in a high paced industrial environment, have a general understanding of industrial safety practices and sipping/ receiving experience.
• Experience in a Supervisor or Team Lead position preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow safety protocols and instructions to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy loads safely and efficiently.
• Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination to operate in tight spaces and navigate machinery.
