Automation Personnel Services is seeking a safety-focused Control Room Operator for a company based in Reform, AL. The role involves monitoring plant equipment, responding to alarms, maintaining logs, and coordinating with field teams on a 12-hour rotating shift.

The position offers 18.25 USD per hour starting pay with 12-hour shifts from 7:00am to 7:00pm and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and more. Weekly pay and a referral bonus are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn control/monitoring systems.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Must complete an 8-hour training schedule before transitioning to a 12-hour rotating shift, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Monitor plant equipment, alarms, pressures, temperatures, and operating conditions using computerized control systems.
• Safely start, stop, and adjust equipment while coordinating with the Main/field team.
• Respond quickly to alarms, equipment issues, and changing conditions.
• Maintain accurate shift logs, equipment readings, and operating records.
• Communicate clearly with operators, supervisors, and maintenance teams. Heavy lifting and lifting constantly.
• Follow the strict no-cell-phone policy except during breaks and lunch.
