Job summary

RRD is hiring a Packaging Specialist to assist with daily shipping department activities, receiving, loading, unloading, and handling printed products. The role involves ensuring customer specifications and SLAs are met, with a shift from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and pay ranging from $19 to $22.22 per hour.

The position requires prior experience in shipping/manufacturing operations, strong system knowledge, and the ability to operate forklifts and related equipment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative/operational support in shipping/manufacturing operations.
• Strong knowledge of materials tracking, storage and retrieval systems and reporting systems.
• Good knowledge of computers and software programs and solid oral/written communication.
• Ability to operate Powered Industrial Vehicles safely and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping and receiving duties for materials, supplies, equipment and finished products.
• Pack, load, and prepare goods for shipment; prepare bills of lading and attach shipping instructions.
• Receive materials, check against bills of lading and packing slips, and maintain records.
• Support manufacturing areas and maintain organized files and documentation.
• Operate material handling equipment and assist with load planning and delivery coordination.
• Communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality standards, and company policies.
