Job summary

RRD is seeking a Shipping/Receiving support associate for 1st shift (6:00AM - 2:30PM) to manage materials movement, receiving, packing and shipping of printed products. You will ensure accuracy to customer specifications, collaborate with carriers and drive efficiency on the dock.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, checking documents, using forklifts, and maintaining safety and quality standards. Requires 2+ years shipping experience and solid computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in shipping/operational support.
• Ability to follow policies and procedures accurately.
• Knowledge of information systems for materials tracking and reporting.
• Proficiency with basic computers and software programs.
• Excellent oral and written communication across departments.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping/receiving duties and prepare shipments with carriers.
• Verify goods against documents; prepare bills of lading and labels.
• Assist with receiving materials and maintaining records.
• Support manufacturing areas with standard procedures.
• Operate material handling equipment and forklifts.
• Communicate with customers, suppliers and production.
• Maintain organized work areas and ensure safety compliance.
• Attend production meetings to coordinate shipping/receiving activities.
