Job summary

RRD is seeking a Packaging Specialist for the Production & Manufacturing department in Miami. The role supports daily shipping activities, material handling, and packing finished products for FedEx, UPS, USPS, and other carriers.

You will ensure orders meet customer specifications and service-level agreements. Responsibilities include receiving and shipping materials, preparing bills of lading, maintaining records, and using forklifts or pallet movers.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• English and Spanish speaking required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in administrative/operational support in shipping/manufacturing operations.
• Knowledge of information systems, including inventory control and reporting systems.
• Strong tech skills with computers and software programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping/receiving duties for materials, supplies, equipment and finished products.
• Pack and prepare shipments according to specifications; create bills of lading and attach shipping instructions.
• Receive materials by unloading and verifying against bills of lading or packing slips; maintain records.
• Support manufacturing areas following standard procedures and maintain documentation.
• Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) as needed.
• Coordinate with departments to resolve issues and ensure timely deliveries.
