Job summary

RR Donnelley is seeking a Packaging Specialist for 1st shift (M-F, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) to assist in shipping, receiving and movement of materials and finished products. This role ensures adherence to customer specifications and service levels while supporting daily logistics tasks.

The position requires basic HS diploma, 2+ years in shipping/manufacturing support, and ability to operate forklifts and related equipment. Safety and accuracy are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of Administrative/operational support in shipping/manufacturing operations.
• Able to follow policies, procedures, regulations and program objectives.
• General knowledge of information systems including materials tracking, storage and retrieval systems and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Performs manual and clerical duties related to shipment/receipt of materials and finished products.
• Packs goods for shipment and prepares bills of lading and shipping documents.
• Unloads trucks and checks against delivery documents; maintains records of goods received.
• Supports manufacturing areas with standard procedures and maintains files.
• Operates material handling equipment to stage materials and load trucks.
• Communicates with customers, suppliers and production to coordinate shipping/receiving.
