Job summary

SPS North America is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate to provide exceptional mail and receiving services. The role ensures timely processing, distribution, and delivery of inbound mail, packages, and supplies while maintaining a professional image and courteous service to SPS employees.

You will verify received goods, maintain records, handle inbound mail, operate mail equipment, and support office operations.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of shipping and receiving experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to operate forklift.
• Must be able to operate a vehicle.
• Must be able to operate both manual and electric pallet jacks.
• Must be familiar with smartphone technology and desktop computer use.
• Must be comfortable with frequent face-to-face customer interactions.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provides 5-star customer service to all employees.
• Receives goods and verifies quality and count against supplier records.
• Maintains accurate records of all received items and documents damaged or missing items.
• Receives inbound mail/packages and inputs into chain of custody software.
• Operates mail machines (postage meters, copiers, mail folding/inserting).
• Notifies employees on deliveries and distributes mail/packages.
• Acts as point of contact for mail inquiries and trains back-up staff.
• Monitors office supply levels and places orders when needed.
