Job summary

SPS North America Inc. is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate to ensure efficient processing of inbound mail, packages, and supplies. You will verify goods, maintain records, and support reception and concierge duties while maintaining a professional image and high service levels.

The role requires forklift operation, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Expect good communication and teamwork within the office setting.

Qualifications

• 1+ year shipping/receiving experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to operate forklift.
• Ability to operate vehicle and pallet jacks (manual and electric).
• Familiar with smartphone and desktop computer technology.
• Comfortable with frequent face-to-face customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Receives goods, verifies quality and count against supplier records.
• Maintains accurate records of all received items.
• Inputs inbound mail into chain-of-custody software and sorts mail.
• Operates mail machines (postage meters, copiers, folding/inserting).
• Notifies employees of deliveries and distributes mail/packages.
• Trains back-up staff and guides on policies/procedures.
• Monitors office supplies and replenishes as needed.
• Proactively seeks additional work during downtime.
• Provides reception/concierge coverage as needed.
