Job summary

ProTrans International Holdings in Laredo, TX is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Specialist to coordinate movement of customer materials through our service center network. The role requires strong data entry, documentation, and customer service skills, with bilingual English/Spanish being desirable in some centers.

The position is full-time, on-site in Laredo, with duties spanning dock coordination, reporting, and inter-company communications.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
1–2 years related experience and/or training.
Able to meet reasonable accommodation requirements and perform essential functions.

Responsibilities

Coordinate, schedule, and dispatch service requirements from local pickups through deliveries.
Serve as liaison between dock operations and internal/external customers.
Track, input, and report information to customers and management.
Communicate effectively within and between departments and centers.
Assist planning on coordinating outbound volume and dock operations.
Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
Prepare inbound and outbound documentation for shipments.
Undertake additional clerical duties as assigned.
