Job summary

Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator for our Lyndhurst facility. You will verify, document, and handle inbound/outbound shipments, contributing to efficient operations and customer satisfaction.

Schedule: Mon–Fri 7AM–5:30PM and Sat 7AM–3:30PM. Responsibilities include managing shipments, maintaining ERP records, assembling/disassembling items for shipment, and coordinating with vendors to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of basic measurements and ability to read a tape measure.
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Strong work ethic with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to pass a motor vehicle check.
• Willingness to work occasional Saturday shifts and overtime.
• Regular and punctual attendance required.
• Ability to wear all required PPE and work in environments that may be very hot or cold.
• This is a safety-sensitive position and requires pre-employment and ongoing drug testing.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to stand, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying conditions (heat, cold, dust, noise).
• Must have the physical stamina to perform repetitive motions and remain on feet for most of the shift.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination sufficient to operate tools accurately and safely.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound shipments of tools, materials, and jobsite supplies
• Verify and maintain records of shipments using the company’s ERP system
• Assemble/disassemble products and prepare items for shipment to and from jobsites
• Receive, unpack, verify, and record incoming deliveries
• Coordinate with vendors, internal departments, and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery
